Magnolia Chef Tilda Cooking Themed Tag

Hello Dearest Readers,

Happy "Hump Day!" Wednesday is a good day because the weekend is just around the corner! I hope this post finds you well. I'm so happy to see that you've stopped by! Thank you!

Today is "W"ednesday at the Magnolia-licious Challenge Blog! Today, Karen and I have cards to share featuring stamps that Diana also has in her shop. I hope you like them! I have chosen to use a mini Tilda as well as a Magnolia rolling pin on a kitchen/cooking themed tag. My Tilda can be found HERE. The best thing is that Diana has her on sale for only $1.50!!! I thought it would be a nice way to say "Thank you" to someone who had invited you to share a meal with them! Here is a photo of the tag front:

I love the red, black, and yellow together. The papers are from my stash as is the little rooster button I've attached by the floor cluster. The measuring spoon charm cluster just seemed like a nice addition as well. Here is a shot of the back of the tag:

The back provides a nice area on which to write a special thank you to your hostess.

This sweet tag is for sale in my Etsy Shop, A Scrapper's Boutique.

Sweet Diana has a generous $20 gift certificate to one lucky "W"-ednesday Challenge participant! We would love to have you share your gorgeous creations with us!

Thank you so much for visiting my blog today! I hope my card will give some inspiration.

XO,

Chris

Magnolia Tilda with Peony Headband CAS Card

Hello Dearest Readers,

Well, this is a crummy week! Yesterday, my main laptop got malware on it that is preventing me from using it! I am terrified that after the malware attached itself to my system, it harvested any and all personal info I have! Today, I disabled the wifi on it, but cannot get the application out of my applications folder on my hard drive. The system keeps telling me I cannot delete an open application. I've tried everything to "close" it! I am so clueless. It makes me feel as dumb as a stick! LOL So, it'll go into the repair shop on Monday. I cannot risk infecting others or having my personal data sent out all over the universe. Until then, I'm on my old laptop and hoping that it'll help me out.

I am thrilled to share my card with you, today. It's for our current

CAS/One Layer Challenge

at the Magnolia-lcious Challenge Blog.

I've been doing more and more CAS cards lately. It was hard for me at first, but then, the more I made CAS cards, the easier it came. Yes, I still want to embellish the heck out of my cards, LOL, but it's nice to be able to do something different. Here is my creation. I hope you like it!

The cardstock base is a deep eggplant color. It was a nice contrast with the white. The stamp I used is Tilda w/ Peony Headband from the Boho Chic Collection. Diana has her in stock, too! She was a dream to color! Here is the link to the stamp (at a great price, too!) The inside is beautifully done. I wish I could show it to you, but that would require me enabling the internet on the infected computer and risking infecting this computer by sending the image to myself. If I can get the 'puter fixed asap, then I will post it for you to see. It's very pretty.

I got my computer back and now have access to the interior photos. Would you like to see them?

My sweet card is for sale in my Etsy Shop if you are interested.

We would love to have you join the One Layer/Clean and Simple Challenge. One lucky person will win a $20 gift certificate from Magnolia-licious. Your card is your ticket to the random draw! Give it a try! This is a really easy theme with which to work.

Please take a minute and stop by the Magnolia-licious Store. Diana has some excellent prices on our little Tilda stamps! There may be one, or some, that you've wanted to add to your collection. Check it out!

Thank you so much for stopping by!

I hope you will return again very soon!

XO,

Chris

Have I got something to share with you!!! How is your collection of mini Magnolias doing? Are you in need of some new sweet little mini Tildas, Edwins, or accessory stamps like the ones I've used on the cards below? Am I tempting you yet? If so, then you need to run, not walk, to the Magnolia-licious Store as you can because Diana is having a huge Mini stamp sale until 30th June. Each mini is $1.50 USD! I know I'm going to get some new ones to add to my collection!

Here are two design examples using these quick-to-color mini images:

Next Wednesday, I'll be sharing an adorable tag using another mini (this one is one of my favorites)! I hope you'll come back next Wednesday to check it out!

Minis are so adaptable, too. They work so well paired with standard sized Magnolias. They are great for bookmarks, small cards, and other areas with smaller spaces. They are perfectly cut with images as perfectly done as the standard sized ones!

Also, Diana as a weekly Wednesday mini Magnolia challenge with a prize! Check it out on the Magnolia-licious Challenge Blog!

Now, before your favorite ones are gone, fly on over to Diana's Mini World and stock up now!

Magnolia Tilda w/Watering Can and Flowers for Sale Card

Hello Dearest Readers,

Happy June to each of you! I hope this post finds you happy and well! We've had the most magnificent thunder storms the past couple of days. If you've been a long time reader, you may remember that the thunderstorms here are quite different from anywhere else I've lived. Due to all of the canyons, the thunder clap rolls and rolls as the sound waves hit the canyons. It is almost a thunder echo. It is soooo cool! Even when they happen at 3:00 in the morning (you can hear the storm cell getting closer and closer) we wake up with a smile. Love them!

Today begins a new challenge at the Magnolia-licious Challenge Blog! Our theme this time around is

Anything Goes

I love Anything Goes Challenges because I can go in any direction that moves me at the moment! This time, I wanted to go with yellow and use a stamp I hadn't used yet - the Magnolia Flowers for Sale stamp from the Sakura Collection. Here is my card:

I thought the Watering Can Tilda (Sweet Rainbow) and Flower Cart (Sakura) stamps were a perfect pairing. I just fell in love with the paper's colors. It's from Echo Park. I decided to focus on yellow. This Tilda is just so sweet, too! I added some lace, pearls, flowers, and lots of die cuts inside and out. The card was colored using DIs, Inktense pencils, Derwent Watercolor Pencils, and Prismacolor Pencils. I wanted to get just the right colors on the flowers, so I used almost all of the colored pencil sets I have! I think there were three other sets that didn't get to play - Kimberly, Fabercastell, Crayola, and random pencils from my teaching days! LOL I had pencils everywhere!

Did you know that Diana has the We Made It Collection listed here? They are ready to come to your creative space! There are super cute images in this collection! Check them out before they are gone.

Sweet Diana has a $20.00 gift certificate to one lucky random winner so you can find your heart's desire at the Magnolia-licious Shop! You will be able to choose from collections from Magnolia, Whimsy, Stamping Bella, Penny Black, and many other manufacturers!

Thank you so much for stopping by! Don't forget and check out the gorgeous designs my teamies have created! They are posted on the Magnolia-licous Challenge Blog.

I hope you will return again very soon!

Chris
